Smooth the dressing down to ensure good adhesion to the surrounding skin. 6. Secure the dressing with medical tape or a bandage, if necessary, especially for larger wounds or those located on joints. Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing as needed, typically daily or more frequently if the wound is heavily exudating.
