Salvelox Suture Strips 8 Pcs Assorted
Directions
Directions for Use: 1. Clean and dry the wound thoroughly. Ensure the area is free of dirt, debris, and any ointments or creams. 2. If bleeding, apply pressure until it stops. 3. Gently bring the edges of the wound together. 4. Peel a suture strip from the backing paper, handling it by the edges to avoid touching the adhesive part. 5. Apply the strip across the wound, ensuring it adheres firmly to the skin on both sides. Do not stretch the strip. 6. Apply additional strips as needed, spacing them approximately 1/8 inch apart. For longer wounds, use multiple strips placed end to end, slightly overlapping. 7. Smooth down the edges of each strip to ensure a good seal. Recommended Frequency: Keep the strips on until they fall off naturally, typically 5-10 days. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely. If they become loose or dirty, replace them with new strips. Additional Tips: For optimal healing, keep the wound area clean and dry. Avoid soaking the wound in water, such as bathing or swimming, until the strips have fallen off. If the wound shows signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or pus, consult a medical professional immediately. These strips are suitable for minor cuts and lacerations. For deep wounds, puncture wounds, or wounds that continue to bleed heavily, seek medical attention. Do not use on infected wounds, animal bites, or burns.
