Directions
Directions for Use: 1. Ensure the wound is clean and dry . Gently pat the area dry with a clean cloth. 2. If necessary, carefully trim any excess hair around the wound to ensure proper adhesion. 3. Open the sterile packaging and remove a Leukosan Strip of the appropriate length. 4. Peel off one side of the protective backing and position the strip across the wound, bringing the edges of the skin together. 5. Smooth the strip down firmly, ensuring there are no air bubbles or wrinkles. 6. Peel off the remaining backing and press the strip firmly onto the skin. 7. Apply additional strips as needed, spacing them approximately 2-3mm apart, depending on the wound size and tension. Recommended Frequency: Leukosan Strips should be left in place until they naturally begin to peel off, typically 5-10 days. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely. If the strips become excessively wet or soiled, they may need to be replaced sooner. Consult a healthcare professional if you are unsure. Additional Tips: Keep the area clean and dry . Avoid excessive stretching or rubbing of the wound. Avoid applying creams or ointments directly on top of the strips as this may affect adhesion. If signs of infection develop, such as increased redness, swelling, pain, or pus, consult a healthcare professional immediately. These strips are not suitable for deep or heavily bleeding wounds. For such injuries, seek immediate medical attention.
